May 1, 2020 Update on Physiotherapy Services

May 1, 2020

An Open Letter to Our Patients and Clients,

I cannot believe it has been a month since in-person clinic visits were suspended.

Thank you to all our clients that have connected with us this month.  These interactions have been valuable to both the physiotherapists and the individuals on the receiving end of our expertise and advice.

Yesterday, the Premier and the Chief Medical Officer of Health announced plans for the re-launch of services in Alberta.  This announcement was very general and relies heavily on decisions and guidelines by our regulatory college, Physiotherapy Alberta.  We know for certain that enhanced infection prevention and control measures must be in place.  While not drastically different than our prior measures, practice will look different than before this pandemic.

Further, as we are a tenant of the City of Edmonton, measures must be in place for our patients, clients, staff and physiotherapists to be able to safely access the Clinic.

We are working hard to implement these measures safely and efficiently.

We are targeting the week of May 14 for when in-person care will resume at the Clinic.

Our team of physiotherapists remain committed to serving our clients using tele-rehabilitation.

Whether it is by a telephone, email, or video connection we will use our vast experience to support you.

As we continue to work toward the resumption of in-person clinic visits, I ask for your continued patience.

Please email the Clinic at or leave a voicemail at 780-432-9555 to be placed on our wait-list.  You will be contacted as soon as we have more information regarding the specifics of our re-launch.

With sincere thanks,

Simon Cooke, PT, BScPT

Clinic Director
