Lauren Jenkins (née Lefaivre) graduated from the University of Alberta with her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine (Physiotherapy) and Bachelor of Science. Lauren is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). She is certified in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) from the University of British Columbia.
Additionally, Lauren has training in vestibular assessment and treatment for people with dizziness, vertigo, and balance impairments. Lauren is certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and is trained in the Mulligan Concept.
Lauren takes the time to design a comprehensive, individualized home rehabilitation plan while delivering in depth education and multidimensional treatment. She approaches client care with a compassionate focus on prevention, striving to motivate her clients to pursue active and healthy lives.
In her spare time, Lauren likes to run, play soccer, and do barre fitness classes. She is a proud mother of twin girls and happy to take weekends away to visit the mountains with the girls and her husband!
